There are only a FEW MONTHS out of the Selected year, that the open enrollment for sec-8 accepts applications. I have been on the list since 2005' which is the latest and the most recent application session. I have phoned them and found that from the beginning I was number 2869 on the waiting list. And now, almost 3 years later, I am number 1968.... You can see from the SLOWNESS of the number system on this waiting list that it does NOT move very quickly. I Also know of Two others who are also disabled as well as elderly who were not aware of the special programs for the Disabled, and or elderly!
